Winter in Arizona

Macy likes to watch a little bit of t.v. in her diaper.

Taylor has started her new pre-K at the local elementary school. So far, she's really enjoyed herself. I was worried that she would be shy, since she's new in the class, but her teacher says she does really well and is outgoing. I was so happy to hear that. Yay Taylor! She's also currently taking Ballet and in Chinese School.

We've had friends come over to play. Taylor and Lorelei are watching Mulan here one night ... they're decked out in some old dance costumes.

We hang out and wait for Taylor to come home from school and for Jeremy to come home from work. Macy is a happy baby. She's easily entertained. She thinks walking backwards is funny, so she does it all the time. She loves pulling apart lego towers. She loves wearing headbands ... normally around her neck. She gets into EVERYTHING and loves to climb, all the time. She loves the park.

We go to the park a lot, since this is prime park weather. The City of Mesa has a ton of fun parks, and a lot of them are super close to us, so we explore different parks daily.

I try to do Macy's hair everyday, but she pulls off the elastic/clip everytime, so this is how she normally looks. My homeless baby.

Taylor still LOVES the swing. She especially likes it when Jeremy does the "Underdog". She's also super good on the monkey bars. She can go all the way across .. it's pretty impressive.

We like to wear boots and sweatshirts in the winter. She looks so big and pretty in this picture.

Random Things

Taylor enjoys building blocks, and Macy enjoys knocking the blocks over. This used to bother Taylor, but now she'll build towers just so Macy can knock it over. She's such a good big sister!

Not a very good picture, but it's just super cute that Macy is always copying Taylor. Taylor normally takes a shower, while Macy takes a bath in her little bathtub. Macy now likes to stand up in the shower, just like her big sister.

I can't wait until our oranges are ready to be picked! It's getting close, and look how many oranges there are.

The girls are totally enjoying their new trampoline. Jeremy's been showing Taylor how to do flips in the trampoline. It's pretty funny. Definitely a new fun family activity for us.

This is Macy's bike buggy. I normally stock the little pockets with snacks and a bottle of milk, and she's happy as can be.

Taylor took this picture of me and Macy. We love going for family bike rides now.

Money Maker ....

I just want to tell everybody how much I rock ... LOL. I've sold all sorts of baby items (i.e. strollers, kitchens, walkers, activity tables, etc.) on Craigslist. Specifically, I've sold 2 items today, so I'm pretty pleased with myself. That's right.

Our Wild New Year's Eve ...

I spent most of my night taking care of sick Macy. She caught the flu and threw up many times that night.

Jeremy spent the night putting up his new ceiling fan for his office. Taylor (the "helper") read to him as he was assembling the fan.

Our neighbors had invited us over to their house for a party, but I didn't want to get their kids sick, so Jeremy got a nice fire going and we brought in 2009 watching a video. We're so eventful.
The next day, however, we all caught Macy's flu. It's been miserable, but we're surviving. Thank goodness for my Bissell Carpet PowerSteamer.
