We've lived in Queen Creek for the past 3-1/2 years, and have enjoyed our time there. We loved the friends we've met and have become good friends with some of our neighbors, but the drive to anywhere just got old, and it was just our time to move.
So ... hello Mesa! We moved about two weeks ago. Packing was a pain. I threw out and donated as much stuff as I possibly could, and we still filled up the biggest U-Haul they had, and then some. Crazy. Jeremy picked up four "day laborers", and they helped us move for pretty much the whole day. It's a great feeling to finally be unpacked and settled into our new home. It's an older home, with a great backyard. We love that the pool is in the sideyard, so that we still have a grassy backyard for the girls to play in. Taylor loves the orange tree in the back, and pretty much beats up the tree everyday. =) Jeremy just had to have the walls painted, and I kept telling him to wait, since it was not cheap, but I'm glad we ended up having the walls painted. It just made our home so much more inviting. Anyways, we're definitely enjoying our very convenient location. To all of our Queen Creek friends ... come visit us anytime!!
P.S. To those who wonder why I posted a picture of the ceiling fan, Jeremy put together and hung that up all by himself. Jeremy's not the exactly a handyman, but he likes to think he is, so he's pretty proud of himself for putting that up. It did take him a REALLY long time. Good job Jer!

Wow, Jolie, the pictures look so amazing! The ceilings are really cool looking, the pool looks incredible, everything looks all decorated and pretty already... it looks like a GREAT home! I'm so excited for you. I need to come visit!

Yes, you do need to visit Laney! I also need to visit you in Utah. And Mags, you heard Taylor, I want Wei Wei to be my neighbor, so we can just walk to his house LOL. cute kids. seriously, I was totally against him putting up the fan. I told him to just pay somebody, but he was insistent on putting it up himself! so far so good.
The house looks great. And I am impressed with Jeremy's handywork on the fan. I'm glad you have a blog now. Glad you love the new place.

Congrats on the new house. My bet is the fan Jeremy put up will cause a fire burn the place down. Then you can move back to QC and live by us. -Tom
